Producing pleasure...

ENTERTAINING people runs in the family! Meet Miss P, whose real name is Phindile Ziqubu. She is a radio producer and a daughter of music guru Conry Ziqubu. The 22 year-old from Eastbank in Alexandra is the producer of Tholi-B’s show on YFM called Room 6 to 9, which airs every weekday between 6 and 9 pm.

Young Miss P is definitely walking in daddy’s footsteps, but chose the path of radio instead of music. She joined the youth station early last year after being accepted into the Y Academy. After completing an internship she joined Tholi-B as his producer.

Miss P was inspired by the likes of DJ Fresh, Dineo Ranaka, Gareth Cliff, and Phat Joe, as she loves music and people. In making sure she landed herself a place on the airwaves, she went on to study Radio and Public Relations at Boston Media House and was of its top graduates for 2009.

She told Daily Sun that hard work and determination work wonders in life. She also said she enjoys each and every minute of her job.

“One day I’d like to see myself hosting my own show and growing as far as being a station manager at a national radio station. I want to venture into events co-ordinatiing as well. “The sky is the limit for me” she added.
