Online advertising

Boston City Campus engages third parties that help it deliver its banner advertisements and other online communications. The third parties may collect and use information about Boston City Campus customers to help us understand the offers, promotions, and types of advertising that are most appealing to its customers. The personal information they collect is aggregated and cannot be linked to a person. If you do not wish your personal information to be used in this way, please notify us.

 

• Third party vendors, including Google and DoubleClick, show Boston City Campus's ads on sites
  on the internet.
• Third party vendors, including Google and DoubleClick, use cookies to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to Boston City Campus's website.
• Users may opt out of Google and DoubleClick’s use of cookies by visiting the Google advertising opt-out page or by visiting the Network Advertising Initiative opt out page.

 

Competitions

Please read these competition rules carefully. If you enter one of our competitions, we will assume that you have read these rules and that you agree to them.

The participation in online competitions provided on the www.boston.co.za website and their organization is subject to the following provisions.

The Boston City Campus Bursary Competitions and any other competitions related to Boston City Campus are organized solely by Boston City Campus and its entities. Should this change, clear indication will be made on the various and relevant websites.

General Terms & Conditions:

1. To enter a competition you must be a resident of the Republic of South Africa

2. Competitions are not open to employees (or members of their immediate families) of Boston City Campus or any subsidiary of Boston City Campuse.

3. No purchase necessary for entry.

4. No other forms of entries will be excepted other than an online entry and/or specified (no emails or faxes etc)

5. No responsibility can be accepted for entries that are lost or delayed, or which are not received for any reason.

6. The closing date is as specified in each competition, and Boston City Campus reserves the right to amend the competition end date at any time.

7. If you win a competition, we will notify you by post and/or e-mail. The judges’ decision will be final, and no correspondence will be entered into.

8. Boston City Campus reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel or suspend any competition or promotion.

9. By entering the competition the winner agrees to participate in such promotional activity and material as Boston City Campus may require.

10. The panel of judges for each competition will be comprised of members of the marketing team of a relevant department of Boston City Campus.

11. The prize will not be transferable to another person.

12. No part of a Boston City Campus prize is exchangeable for cash or any other prize.

13. Incorrectly completed entries will be disqualified.

14. All personal contact details and any other details that are received through any of the Boston City Campus websites will not be sold or used other than notifying entrants of other events, promotions and competitions. During which participants will be given an option to OPT OUT of receiving any further communication form Boston City Campus.

15. By participating in the competition, you agree to release and hold Boston City Campus harmless from any and all losses, harm, damages, rights, claims and actions of any kind in connection with the competition, promotion or special offer or resulting from the participation in any competition or acceptance, possession, use or receiving of any prize, including, without limitation, personal injuries, death and property damage, and claims based on publicity rights, defamation or invasion of privacy.

16. Boston City Campus reserves the right to amend these rules at any time. Boston City Campus may also create rules which will apply to a specific competition only. If we do this we will publish the amended competition rules and/or specific competition rules on the relevant competition page(s).

17. Boston City Campus will endeavor to send prizes or prize letters within a month of the competition end date but cannot guarantee this delivery time.

18. Prompted uploading of personal material to various platforms underneath the Boston City Campus and various identities will undergo through a moderation process. Should the material be deemed explicit of unsuitable, the material will not be published. In which case it will be at the webmasters discretion to inform the relevant party.

19. All material that is submitted for competition purposes must be retained in its “raw” format as this material could be possible used at a later stage.

20. All participates that are uploading content to various social network platforms as required to confirm with the platforms terms, conditions and disclaimers.

21. Bursaries are for tuition only at Boston City Campus and exclude any external examination or registration fees.

22. Entry criteria must be met for specific course requirements.
