Unisa
Boston decided to no longer offer ‘top-up’ or ‘extra lessons’ for UNISA students as of semester 2-2016.
This decision was reached in light of the ever changing and complex regulatory framework.
We would like to state for the record our deep appreciation for the longstanding relationship (twenty plus years) that we enjoyed with UNISA and the privilege to share in the alumnae’s success records.
History
In terms of the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) entered into between the University of South Africa (UNISA) and Boston City Campus & Business College (Boston), students registered with UNISA are allowed to register for ‘top-up’ or ‘extra lessons’ with the Boston Bedfordview support centre.
Boston is very proud of its (this) shared history, since 1991 many UNISA students and graduates have stepped through our doors and went on to fulfil the highest calling in modern society, which is that of critical citizenship.
More specifically, the MOU lists the activities which are solely UNISA’s responsibility, which are in-line with the provisions of the Higher Education Act, 1997 (Act No. 101 of 1997), see Table below.
